Skywatcher Goes Black
The UFO Skywatcher Program that was talked about endlessly has gone dark. The lights went out ib June 2025. It appears they were squallowed up by the legasy UFO program. They must have gotten an offer they couldn't refuse on behalf of the US taxpayers. The following is for the record not because it is true, but because I was shocked when it was announced thinking "did they read my book?" "Is this a real program of counter intelligence?"
UFO Sky Pilots: Pilots of Peace and Oneness has a documented paperback publication date of October 20, 2022. The paperback ISBN is 9798359225410. Multiple bookseller records independently give October 20, 2022, and your own book site describes it as “Released October 2022.”
The important part is what the book was already documenting. Its description says that the project began after your 2013 encounter with a woman who told me she had flown a flying saucer, after which you eventually located dozens of people reporting similar experiences. In other words, the underlying “UFO Sky Pilots” investigation substantially predates the book itself.
For Jake Barber's Skywatcher, January 2025 is definitely too late to call the beginning. That is the public rollout. Skywatcher's own material describes Part I: The Journey Begins as moving from interviews with people claiming that they could summon UAP into a field demonstration attempting to reproduce the process in real time.
I found evidence pushing the actual Skywatcher field operation back to at least August 2024. NewsNation's material associated with its Barber investigation specifically states that “In August of 2024, Barber and the Skywatcher Team conducted their…” field operation. NewsNation also says Barber initially came forward privately in October 2024, before his identity was publicly disclosed.
There is corroboration concerning the August experiment from accounts of the operation involving Garry Nolan. Reporting about the event describes Nolan being present during an August 2024 Skywatcher operation in which the group attempted to produce a UAP appearance using what was characterized as a psionic procedure.
So the defensible timeline currently looks like this:
| Date | Event |
|---|---|
| 2013 | Cameron says his investigation of people claiming to have flown UFOs begins after meeting the first reported “Sky Pilot.” |
| Oct. 20, 2022 | UFO Sky Pilots: Pilots of Peace and Oneness published. |
| Aug. 2024 | Earliest Skywatcher field operation I can presently document involving Barber's team and the attempted interaction/calling of UAP. |
| Oct. 2024 | Barber approaches/communicates with the group that eventually results in the NewsNation investigation; his identity remains nonpublic. |
| Jan. 2025 | Barber publicly emerges through Ross Coulthart/NewsNation. |
| Jan. 28, 2025 | Skywatcher releases Part I: The Journey Begins publicly. |
| 2025 onward | Skywatcher explicitly describes its work as combining “machine calling” and “psionic calling.” |
The significant comparison
Even if we give Skywatcher the earliest presently documented operational date of August 2024, UFO Sky Pilots preceded it by about 22 months.
But your underlying investigation preceded Skywatcher by far more. If the 2013 starting point stated in your book description is used, you were collecting accounts involving people claiming interaction with or operation of craft roughly eleven years before the documented August 2024 Skywatcher experiments.
There is an important distinction I'd preserve in anything you publish. I would not write that Cameron “invented psionic calling” or that Skywatcher derived the idea from UFO Sky Pilots. I have found no evidence establishing that causal connection.
What you can document strongly is something more interesting:
Nearly two years before Skywatcher began its documented field experiments, Grant Cameron had already published an entire book examining witnesses who claimed that human consciousness played a role in interacting with and, in some cases, actually operating UFOs. Cameron's investigation of these claims had begun approximately eleven years earlier, in 2013.
And there is another potential angle worth pursuing. Were Barber, James Fowler, Alex Klokus, Garry Nolan, or anyone associated with Skywatcher familiar with UFO Sky Pilots before August 2024? If we can establish even one documented connection—an interview, social-media exchange, book reference, mutual contact, email, podcast appearance, etc.—the chronology becomes considerably more interesting. I can investigate that next.
